Read more Read less. I agree—the hero of Edenbrooke is one of my favorite heroes if not my absolute favorite in Regency fiction. Then he raised it again and leveled his gaze at the target. It was once again something spectacular that took my breath away and leaving be bereft that it was over. You won’t find traditional regency language here, and this is what appeals to such a wide audience my 13 y.
He is also the one that she loves.

Blackmoore is donaldsoon regency novel. Love is the downfall of men and the entrapment of women. Blackmoore is the exact opposite and would be a grim castle painted in dark strokes and dull hues.
Truly a delicious and delightful story all the way through. He sufrido con Kate en todo momento, a la que he entendido taaanto Even though I profess not to like romances, it’s not really that I don’t like them. This one is a little bit moodier with more tension.

I found the writing and characterization have grown since Edenbrooke. They never cease to donalvson me in one way or another. It was told that Kate’s mother tried to flirt with Henry’s Dad but he turned her down.
Julianne Donaldson is an up and coming author of regency books along the lines of Jane Austen. There is just so much to be discovered and unfurled. I think I need to rewrite this review as lots of people have mentioned that aspect of the book. For that is what I felt as soon as I met her—disappointment that she was so very bland.
Oh my goodness I loved this book so very much. Secrets and mysteries are uncovered slowly, but in good fashion as the author keeps you salivating for more of Kate Worthington and her desires to be free. Birds are a main theme in Blackmoore. This is good clean fun, but with some delicious sexual tension underlying it all. I too loved Edenbrooke, her excellent prose, dialogues, sweet romance, and especially the hero, who was the most charming man ever, and everything he should be, As soon as I heard Julianne Donaldson had a new book coming out, I pre-ordered it… and it has just arrived!

She is the opposite of level-headed. She loves their beauty. See and discover other items: I fell in love with this from the very beginning and it didn’t take me long to be hopelessly in love with the characters and to instantly feel every emotion they were going through. A completely different story.
But Kate’s story of letting go and embracing life was beautiful. Her mother and her sisters only want what is best for them, even at the expense of others. When they Henry and Kate finally do carry out their magic moment, oh yeah, it is well worth the wait. Then today I kept going back to re-read my favourite parts. Set in Northern England inBlackmoore is a regency romance that tells the story of a young woman struggling to learn how to follow her heart.
I have heard people said Kate, the main protagonist, was a bit cold-hearted but I sympathize with her. It was a great story with great characters.
Donalddon book has a beautiful Gothic feel to it, but that is it. Kate’s goal is to be a very different person than her mother.
The mix with steamy romances, cozy mystery crime and now and then also more traditional clean romantic novels julkanne this one may be the right recipe for me.
